like seek.com.au, fairfax, monster, jobnet, etc?
How can we prove they are real or fake?
Have you ever obtained a job this way? Has a human ever called you on the
telephone?
Or just emailed you back with automated responses?
Answer:
-If a job is advertised on Careerone or Monster thru a regognised agency (eg
Candle, Spherion) then it is readl. It's my main source of leads for
contract work.
-don't know about seek, but fairfax and jobnet are just advertising agents,
monster is a front for TMP, the largest employment agency in the world.
These sites are geniune enough, but a common trick for job agencies is to
advertise nonexistent positions in order to collect names for their books.
Job agents are like real estate agents and car salespeople. Proceed with
caution.
