Question:
I've learned from the new CM GOD ingame-editor the main reason why we all
don't get jobs after a few good seasons (read: reputation worldclass).
While your reputation gets sky high after winning a few cups and
championships your ability only goes up with a meager 10 points every
season, it takes about 15 to 20 years to be worldclass in ability.
So i've started a new game made myself a manager from a third division
team
in the Belgian league played a few games, saved the game and started
editing, i've made myself a worldclass manager only in reputation, made a
few national sides available and apply for every job vacant, the only
thing
i've became was unemployed.
Started the saved game again and edited my current ability to about 180
and
potentional ability to 200 and worldclass in reputation again made a few
national sides available and again apply for every job vacant, to my
surprise i was selected for the Germany job.
Answer:
That's because for ALL human managers, the abilities as reflected by any savegame editor are not
precise. In one game, your abilities can be 180/180 while in another 1/10. The editing job done
above is only forcing the game to see the human as an AI manager and judge him as such. If you
have to argue, it also means the game is unfair to humans and cheats
