Question:
We intend applying for a permanent residency visa in Australia.
I have been surfing the net looking for job opportunities in Western
Australia as coming from South Africa this seems to be the cheapest area to
settle.
So far most of the job opportunites offered in my husband's line of work
seem to be in NSW or Queensland. Prehaps because most of the web sites I
have found are stationed in Sydney.
My Husband is a qualified Fitter & turner as well as a design draughtsman.
Although I have found work in the fitting and turning line, none of them are
in WA. I have found no draughting positions.
Prehaps draughtsman are called by another name in Australia.
I would be most appreciative if someone would give me some web sites in WA
that I could use to search for job opportunities in this area for both
fitters and draughtsman. I am a qualified High Schoool teacher - Commercial
subjects . Is there a special web site where I could find out more
information on teaching in Australia.
Answer:
-Oz is not completely on the web

employment agencies or big engineering firms via www.yellowpages.com.au
