What is the benefit of working a government job? Is it a pension, and
security? I'm wondering if I should try to get a government job. Does
anyone here work for the good ole usa?
Answer:
Chewy was looking at a position with Tx Parks and Wildlife. The pay is
just a bit lower than industry standard but not bad. The benefits are
good, and it's *secure* (read: not a startup dot com).
You might want to look, not only at federal positions, but also at state
and local govt positions.
