I have 10 years of experience (5 years in US). I am in US right now & have GC.
Since I came to US, I worked for one company & never modified my resume in last
5 years. Now I am looking for job as I don't see much scope of growth in my company
Since I worked as permenant employee for all this year, my first choice is permenant job.
Unless something is contract to hire.
We live in Midwest & want to move to some warmer place. We don't want to move to West
cost, East cost, Florida or Texas (accept Austin). We did some research for
NC (RTP, Charlotte) & I think it fits with all other things (good school, Indian community,
not long commute, good job opportunity in RTP, affordable housing etc).
I read some good post about Austin. Would there be more job opportunity in Austin compare to RTP? I have C++, Embedded experience.

- You can think of Atlanta. Lots of jobs , lots of desis ( not as much as india ).
Local IFM market is like india market where you can get malanga leaves ( Patra Vadi stuff)
and Pomfret too. No snow thru out the year ( If snows once in two - three yrs is declareda
holiday here) , bad weather only for 2 months of the year , remaining 10 months almost
Mahabaleshwar climate. This place is like second home now. Home prices very much affordable,
and in latest business week , Atlanta was the second best place to buy a house currently after
Texas as prices here have not yet appreciated very much like CA, FL, Boston etc. Looks like
ppl always crave for things they dont have , I see u , and some of my relatives and friends
there craving to come here. And i am craving here to go back to Des! .
