Question:
Probably not. The fact that they did not even reach the current cap, and
the fact that virtually every job advertised explicitly says they will not
sponsor visas, means that there is not much industry demand for more H-1B's.
Answer:
You cited the 775 jobs that computerjobs.com had listed as
evidence of a robust Atlanta IT economy. Now you say
that 85% of jobs are not advertised. If you are going to
use the jobs advertised on computerjobs.com as proof
of your argument then defend you statement. Now you
use a different argument. I may be wrong but most assholes
writing editorials and saying the economy is in good shape
cite all the jobs listed at Monster.com and dice as evidence.
These same assholes have been saying for two years that
all of these Internet job boards and online resume posting
was the new paradigm of today's job hunter. Now that all of
that bullshit has been dispelled you people say, well most
jobs are not advertised.
I don't live in Atlanta but have been trying to relocate there
for some time now haven't had much luck.
